testimonial

"Yoga prepared me well, in particular to keep a "fit" body during pregnancy which helped me recover extremely quickly after delivery. I had NO ACHES whatsoever after delivery.  OF course during delivery, pain was very strong, but I could go through it better than what I was fearing. I kept thinking of the breathing technique, this really helped. Then I was trying to remember all Andrea said about connecting with the baby and relaxing, It empowered me, also mentally...I started to believe that even I could do it!" - Virginie

LEARN MORE ABOUT ANDREA'S YOGA JOURNEY

I have been practising yoga & meditation since my early 20's, as like many I came to it through tough times of anxiety and depression. It has helped me through the years to find peace and balance in my life and continues to be a constant reminder of how life is ever changing.
Yoga has taught me to surrender and bring awareness when I am out of balance. Most of all yoga has taught me self-acceptance and love for myself, to find a deeper connection with the world and the natural rhythms of life in and around me.

I trained in Ashtanga Vinyasa in 2009 in Thailand which set me on my teaching career, I love the dedication and authenticity of Ashtanga but my body sometimes didn’t agree especially at certain times of the month, I saw this in many female students too. After training in London with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli in ‘Postnatal and baby yoga’ I was awakened to the world of honouring the body I had. This was deeply profound in self acceptance and feeling rejuvenated by subtle feminine practices. I have followed Uma’s work in ‘Womb Yoga’ since, training in also pregnancy and well woman yoga. I love guiding women through fertility, pregnancy and into motherhood as well as supporting women as they move through menopause. I feel my yoga classes and teachings fill in the gaps that many teachers don’t talk about. I work with cycle awareness to help my students discover their own inner yoga teacher, running courses, workshops, and mentoring. Now as a new mum (my baby girl, Willow was born May 2017) I understand the need for flexibility and importance of bringing yoga and self care into your life.

In addition to her other qualification, Andrea has a Traditional Thai Yoga Massage Diploma and 10 years of teaching experience.
